Hello fastclone: from a URL to a React project, in your browser
Every team we know keeps a wishlist of pages they wish were theirs: a pricing page they admire, a docs layout that just works, a dashboard they sketched on someone else’s site. Rebuilding one from zero is a weekend; rebuilding five is a quarter.
fastclone started from a simple question: what if you could start from the page you already like?
Paste a URL, keep your browser
Paste the address of the page you want into fastclone. That’s the whole setup — no local environment, no dependency install. A Chrome extension lets the AI read the target page in your own browser, so authenticated views and anything behind your session are visible the way you see them.
Live preview while it builds
The clone is generated onto a unified React template. As files are written, a live preview renders the result right next to the conversation — what you see is the real rendered project, not a mock-up. Ask for changes in plain language and watch them land.
What you get at the end
A standard npm project built on the unified React template — your code, not a hosted wedge:
pnpm install
pnpm dev
Modify it, deploy it, ship it to a client. fastclone claims no rights over the result.
Try it
Open the console, paste a URL, and watch the page become yours. The blog will stay updated with cloning techniques, template changes, and product updates — in English and Chinese.
